FAQ
All US orders are shipped via USPS. Once your order has shipped, you will receive a tracking number via email. Most orders should arrive in 3-8 business days once shipped. I do not have control once the package leaves my possession. If you have questions or concerns with an order, please email me at pineneedleknits@gmail.com
All yarn purchases are final sale and non-refundable. Because each skein is hand-dyed in small batches, returned yarn cannot be resold or guaranteed to match.
Exchanges:
If your yarn arrives damaged, please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order at pineneedleknits@gmail.com. We will gladly arrange an exchange for the same item or provide a replacement of equal value.
Please inspect your package upon arrival and let us know immediately if there’s any damage.
Because each skein is hand-dyed, slight variations in color between skeins may occur. For orders of two or more skeins, I will make every effort to match dye lots as closely as possible, but exact matches cannot be guaranteed.

Depending on popularity & availability, previous color-ways may be restocked.
All dyed-to-order skeins have a turnaround time of 4-8 weeks. Check product listing for exact timelines.

Most yarns available are Superwash Merino Wool. These yarns can be washed by hand or machine. I prefer to hand-wash to avoid any risk of damaging/ felting the yarn.
Some dyes are extremely difficult to set, and some colors may bleed even after our final wash. I recommend using a color catcher or steam block if you have any doubts.
Yarns that are not Superwash Merino should always be gently hand-washed.When drying, lay flat. Do not put in dryer.
Depending on order volume, a collection can take up to 8 weeks to ship after pre-order is closed. I strive to complete orders ASAP but due to the nature of a one woman show I cannot guarantee a specific time window.
I will provide post-collection production/ timelines on Instagram and you will receive an email as soon as your order ships.
I unfortunately do not accept custom orders at this time.
